Computers give us the opportunity to do lots of things we cannot do without them. I don’t think we can envision our lives nowadays without access to computers. So keeping our computer running at a satisfactory speed is very important. Look at these ideas below to help your slow computer.
Programs you don’t need: All computers assembled and sold retail by major computer manufacturers load software applications that your computer does not need. I have over come this by having computer shops to build my computer with components to my specifications rather than purchasing a packaged unit. This will stop some programs running on my computer that do not need to be there. Now I realize it it too late to purchase a different computer and what you need now is a solution for your existing problems. The safest and best thing to do is get in touch with a good computer tech. It can be very hazardous to try removing this type of built-in program from your computer.
Data storage: This involves two types of computer memory that can make your computer slow down. To repair this problem either increase memory or do away with some data that is stored. The more your computer is used the more memory storage is required. Today’s computers have much more capacity than a few years ago, yet they also need much more too. Our data is kept in storage in various drives and by many different applications of your personal computer. As with any storage location – warehouse, storage room, closet, etc. – the space needs to be optimized. If it is not organized or optimized it will not be efficient and slow down your computer.
Hard disk / RAM: The two types of memory are your computer’s hard disk and its RAM or random access memory. The hard disk is the place that data is kept in storage long term and the RAM is for short term. Computers that do not have enough RAM will be slow because the Windows system will use up most of its capacity. This problem can be solved by adding more RAM to the computer. This is easily done at home with a little advice.
Pc’s registry: If you have done much adding or removing programs I would almost guarantee you need a registry cleaner. We don’t really do away with them totally, it just will not get all of it. The organizing of the registry can help take out unneeded data and that can be a slow computer fix in its self. The more you work your computer the more the registry becomes chaotic. And you want remove it with just emptying the trash.
Registry cleaning or optimization is a simple process that can be done at home. Since I’ve had a windows registry cleaner I feel safer and my computer performs better as well.
